Profile
Local Government Legal is managed by the Principal Lawyer, Tony Pickup who has provided legal services to a range of councils since 1998.
Tony worked as an in-house lawyer at Hornsby Council for a number of years and as a Partner for over seven (7) years in a Sydney firm that specialised in local government, planning and environmental law.
Areas of Practice
Tony practices in the areas of local government, planning, environmental, administrative and property law. With his background working within councils before qualifying as a Solicitor, Tony has a unique understanding of not just the structure and processes existing within councils, but also the special complexities involved in the competing interests councils often face.
